Chancellor Rachel Reeves says defence spending will enhance by £11bn and by the tip of April 2027, it can rise to 2.6% of GDP.
On high of that, there might be a £600m uplift for safety and intelligence companies.
"A new era in the threats we face demands a new era for defence and security," she says, echoing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s announcement on defence spending earlier this month.
