A girl is in a essential situation after she was stabbed within the neck in what police have described as an "unprovoked attack".
West Midlands Police had been known as to Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, shortly earlier than 9pm on Friday following experiences of a stabbing.
The girl, in her 30s, suffered a "serious neck injury" and stays in hospital.
A person in his 20s was arrested close to to the scene and is in custody.
