A Canadian ship with 17 folks on board stays caught within the ice on Lake Erie.
The 663-foot Manitoulin had dropped off a load of wheat and was heading again to Sarnia, Ontario, on Wednesday when it grew to become caught in ice that was quickly forming in sub-zero temperatures off the Buffalo shoreline.
