Consumer champion Martin Lewis has urged these caught up within the automotive finance scandal to not pay a claims agency to get well their compensation.
The MoneySavingExpert mentioned it was "very likely" that about 40% of Britons who entered private contact buy or rent buy agreements between 2007 and 2021 shall be eligible for payouts.
However, these payouts are more likely to be for "hundreds, not thousands of pounds".
