Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has set out his plans to take full army management of Gaza.
Speaking forward of a key assembly together with his safety cupboard, he mentioned Israel would not need to hold the territory, or govern it nevertheless it needs a safety perimeter.
Hamas claims Netanyahu needs to sacrifice the lives of hostages nonetheless held in Gaza whereas the United Nations has warned an all-out army occupation of the territory would have "catastrophic consequences".
