An Israeli objector and activist who was jailed for refusing to battle for the Israel Defence Forces has advised Sky News that "more and more people" are refusing to be drafted.
Speaking to Sky’s Matt Barbet, Iddo Elam stated he has acquired abuse and demise threats because of his actions – however said that he believes you will need to "stand your moral ground and be a part of history".
The teenager, who has now been granted an exemption, described the struggle as "horrible" and condemned the humanitarian disaster being confronted by hundreds of thousands of individuals residing in Gaza.
