Judge rejects Trump administration request to launch Jeffrey Epstein grand jury paperwork

A federal choose stated he wouldn’t unseal grand jury transcripts and reveals from the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein – rejecting the Justice Department’s request to make them public. Judge Richard Berman stated the Justice Department didn’t overcome long-standing precedent to maintain grand jury supplies sealed and famous that the data contained within the sealed supplies is small relative to the whole investigation file already in DOJ’s palms. “The information contained in the Epstein grand jury transcripts pales in comparison to the Epstein investigation information and materials in the hand of the Department of Justice,” the choose wrote.

The Justice Department declined to touch upon Berman’s ruling. This is the third federal choose to say no to launch Epstein-related transcripts and proof from a grand jury.
