The Pentagon stated two Venezuelan navy plane flew close to a U.S. Navy vessel on Thursday in worldwide waters in a "highly provocative move."
In an announcement posted on the social media platform X on Thursday evening, the Defense Department wrote the transfer "was designed to interfere with our counter narco-terror operations."
