Tens of hundreds of thousands of cell phones within the UK obtained a message and sounded a loud alarm within the second nationwide check of the federal government’s public alert system.
The alarm system, which is meant for use in conditions reminiscent of excessive climate, flooding, and fires, was first examined in April 2023.
