Thousands of Russian and Belarusian troops have taken half in a army train close to Lithuania’s border, as tensions with the EU run excessive after a Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace.
Last time these drills occurred, they led to an enormous build-up of Russian troops in Belarus, which Moscow used for a part of its invasion of Ukraine a number of months later.
