Russia and Belarus have been holding joint army drills on NATO’s doorstep, elevating considerations within the West.
There are fears in Eastern Europe that the "Zapad-2025" workout routines are designed to simulate the occupation of the Suwalki hole, a hall that stretches alongside the border between Poland and Lithuania, flanked by Belarus and the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
