A person was rescued on Tuesday in northern India after spending greater than 4 hours clinging onto an electrical energy pole as lethal floodwaters raged round him, native media reported.
A rescue staff reportedly spent one other two hours trying to rescue him, securing him to their line and sending him throughout the water to dry floor.
