An aged British couple who had been detained by the Taliban earlier this 12 months have been freed.
Barbie Reynolds, 76, and her husband Peter, 80, had been detained by the Taliban’s inside ministry on 1 February as they travelled to their dwelling in Bamyan province, central Afghanistan.
In March, they had been moved to a most safety jail in Kabul the place that they had been held with out cost since.
They had been safely launched from detention on Friday and flown to Doha following mediation led by Qatar.
