Prime Minister’s assertion because the United Kingdom formally recognises the State of Palestine

In a six-minute video assertion, Sir Keir Starmer says the popularity reveals the folks of each Israel and Palestine that there is usually a "better future".

The prime minister says: "This solution is not a reward for Hamas because it means Hamas can have no future, no role in government, no role in security."

He provides: "We name once more on the Israeli authorities to carry the unacceptable restrictions on the border, cease these merciless ways and let the help surge in.

"With the actions of Hamas, the Israeli authorities escalating the battle, and settlement constructing being accelerated within the West Bank, the hope of a two-state answer is fading, however we can’t let that gentle exit.

"That is why we are building consensus with leaders in the region and beyond, around our framework for peace."
