Cyber assault halts Jaguar’s international operations till October

Britain’s largest automobile producer has been compelled to halt its international operations till at the least 1 Oct within the wake of a significant cyberattack.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) mentioned it was seeking to "build the timeline for the phased restart of our operations".

The firm was initially hit on 31 August, forcing it to halt manufacturing at its factories.

The extension will price JLR tens of thousands and thousands of kilos a day and is placing 1000’s of jobs in danger within the automobile manufacturing provide chain.
