Ticketmaster has agreed to vary the way it sells tickets after a contest watchdog investigation into the way it bought Oasis tickets.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) discovered two areas of concern in how Ticketmaster bought tickets to the long-anticipated Oasis reunion tour.
These included failing to tell clients within the "lengthy queues" that tickets have been being bought at two completely different costs, with the price surging after cheaper tickets have been bought out and that some "platinum" tickets have been being bought at 2.5 instances the worth of a regular ticket, regardless of providing "no additional benefits".
