Nationwide web blackout continues in Afghanistan

Afghanistan is dealing with its third day with out web and cell phone connectivity.

The blackout has disrupted banking, retailers and airports.

The Taliban says the substitute of previous web cables is behind the nationwide shutdown.

Several provinces stated this week stated the shutdown was due to a decree from the Taliban chief Hibatullah Akhundzada, aimed toward tackling immorality.

Critics worry the blackout is a part of a Taliban technique to exert extra management over the inhabitants.
