Melissa Rycroft, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader who appeared on Jason Mesnick’s season of ‘The Bachelor’ and competed on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ is unrecognizable after her arrest for suspicion of DWI in her residence state of Texas. She is at present out on bail, as her lawyer tells ET, ‘I need to remind the general public of the basic precept of our justice system… each particular person is presumed harmless till confirmed responsible. We, as a society, have gotten fully away from this elementary idea. My Client was arrested on the allegation of Driving While Intoxicated. An arrest is not any indication of guilt.’
