Sky News joined NATO’s Operation Eastern Sentry on an air patrol over Poland’s jap border because the alliance responds to Russian threats to its airspace.
The RAF is supplying Typhoon fighter jets and refuelling capabilities to assist patrol the skies and bolster NATO’s jap flank after Russia despatched scores of drones into NATO territory on 10 September.
Sky’s Diana Magnay was on board a refuelling airplane as a part of a nighttime mission to patrol the skies.
