DOT sees improve in air visitors controllers calling out sick
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy mentioned Monday that an elevated variety of controllers have already known as out sick in the course of the federal authorities shutdown. To preserve security with fewer controllers the Federal Aviation Administration will delay flights as wanted.
“Our priorities are safety, and so if we have additional calls, we will reduce the flow consistent with a rate that’s safe for the American people,” Duffy mentioned.
