Wounded jaguar in Brazil rescued by authorities
A wounded jaguar that was discovered swimming within the Rio Negro in Brazil was rescued by officers.
Footage posted by the Amazonas State Secretariat for Public Security reveals the jaguar – which is Brazil’s nationwide animal in addition to a protected species – clinging to a float being towed by a army police boat.
The army police labored with the Animal Protection Secretariat and a feline specialist to rescue the jaguar.
According to native reviews, the jaguar had been shot a number of occasions and had greater than 30 items of shrapnel in its face, head and neck.
