The US Treasury Department has introduced that Russia’s two largest oil producers have been included in sanctions in opposition to the nation.
It mentioned the sanctions, which embrace designating Rosneft and Lukoil, have been imposed resulting from "Russia’s lack of serious commitment to a peace process to end the war in Ukraine".
The sanctions will enhance stress on Russia’s vitality sector and "degrade the Kremlin’s ability to raise revenue for its war machine and support its weakened economy", the division added.
The UK authorities included Rosneft and Lukoil in its newest sanctions bundle on Russia final week.
