At roughly 10:00 p.m. PST on Thursday, Coast Guard safety personnel standing watch on Coast Guard Island noticed a car driving erratically and trying to again into Coast Guard Base Alameda, posing a direct menace to the protection of Coast Guard and safety personnel, in keeping with a spokesperson from the United States Coast Guard.
