Torrential rain brings floods to New York, New Jersey
Torrential rain introduced vital flooding to components of New York and New Jersey on Thursday.
According to NYC Emergency Management, the National Weather Service reported that 1.8 inches of rain fell in Central Park on Thursday. That would preliminarily break the earlier identified document set in 1917, the division mentioned.
