The invisible line separating Gaza
Under Israeli army escort, CNN’s Jeremy Diamond visited an Israeli army place close to the “yellow line” in Gaza City’s Al-Shujaiya neighborhood. The “yellow line” separates Israeli-occupied Gaza from the rest of the strip that Israel has withdrawn from. But with only a few markers on the bottom, it’s tough to differentiate the contours of that line. Multiple Palestinian civilians have been killed whereas crossing over the invisible line, as have suspected Hamas militants. The Israeli authorities continues to bar international journalists from independently getting into Gaza.
