Airlines cancel lots of of flights Friday as shutdown stretches on
Major airways say they’re planning to cancel lots of of flights on Friday — out of hundreds of every day flights — because the Federal Aviation Administration is about to start limiting flight capability at 40 main U.S. airports amid the federal government shutdown.
As of two:30 a.m. ET on Friday morning, no less than 814 flights inside, into or out of the United States have been cancelled to this point, per FlightAware
