Migrants being held in East Libya have instructed Sky News of the abuse they’ve suffered by the hands of the smugglers they paid to convey them to Europe.
Sky News has been given unprecedented entry to authorities making an attempt to crack down on the human smuggling commerce in Libya.
Many migrants are being held in detention centres in Benghazi after being intercepted on their journey from Africa to Europe.
Sky’s Alex Crawford spoke to a few of these being held to listen to the tales of why they fled their residence international locations and of the journeys they’ve endured.
