UK snow newest | Met Office warns of ‘frequent wintry showers’
The Met Office has issued an amber warning for snow in elements of north east England.
It has warned that from 0500-2100, there may very well be "significant" snow accumulations over the North York Moors and elements of the Yorkshire Wolds.
By the tip of Thursday, as a lot as 15-25 cm might have collected on hills above 100 m elevation, which is prone to trigger substantial disruption.
