BBC board member resigns – and criticises ‘governance points’ at prime of company
A BBC board member has resigned after criticising "governance issues" on the prime of the company.
Shumeet Banerji notified the board of his resignation on Friday, the BBC stated in a press release.
It comes lower than two weeks after the company’s director-general Tim Davie and chief govt of BBC News Deborah Turness resigned earlier this month after a row over the enhancing of a Panorama documentary on Donald Trump.
