‘Not right here to construct a tradition of witch hunts’: Zarah Sultana boycott exposes Your Party divisions

The opening day of Your Party’s convention in Liverpool has been marred by additional controversy, when co-founder Zahra Sultana declared she was boycotting the occasion.

Speaking to Sky’s political correspondent, Rob Powell, Zahra Sultana spoke about her frustration over the expulsion of some members.

"It is something that is deeply concerning, especially when we are calling for a democratic party," she says. "We are not to expel people, we are not here to build a culture of witch hunts."
