President Trump attends invoice signing to acknowledge the 1980 U.S. Olympic males’s hockey staff

President Trump attended a invoice signing to award the 1980 U.S. Olympic males’s hockey staff with Congressional Gold Medals in recognition of the staff’s 1980 Olympic victory over the Soviet Union.

During the ceremony within the Oval Office, the “Miracle on Ice” staff introduced Trump with a reproduction cowboy hat. According to the National Museum of American historical past, the white cowboy hats have been worn as part of the athletes’ opening ceremony uniforms on the video games in Lake Placid, New York.
