The Met Police have ended an investigation into claims Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor requested an officer to assist dig up filth on Virginia Giuffre.
Ms Giuffre had accused the previous prince of sexual assault, an allegation he denies.
The Mail on Sunday claimed in October that Andrew tried to get his private safety officer to research the lady.
But the Met mentioned an evaluation of the allegations "has not revealed any additional evidence of criminal acts or misconduct" for the reason that power final regarded on the case.
