Protests have been held towards the choice by Girlguiding to cease trans women becoming a member of the organisation.
Girlguiding trustees say the choice was made following the Supreme Court’s ruling that the definition of a "woman" and "sex" within the Equality Act refers to "a biological woman and biological sex".
