Russia and Ukraine ‘on the verge’ of deal to finish conflict, deputy overseas minister says

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov instructed ABC News throughout an unique interview on Monday that he believes the combatants are "on the verge" of a diplomatic resolution to finish Moscow’s conflict.

"We are prepared to have a deal," Ryabkov mentioned of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s authorities. The deputy overseas minister added that he hoped an settlement could be reached "sooner rather than later."
