A vacation thank-you for the reward of life | Kidney transplant recipient visits transplant care group

Dressed as Santa, kidney transplant recipient Dan Reed returned to the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester to thank the group who helped give him the reward of life.

Joined by his longtime buddy Steve – who helped provoke the dwelling donor chain that led to Dan’s kidney transplant – Dan visited physicians, nurses, transplant coordinators and employees to unfold vacation cheer and heartfelt gratitude.
