Anthony Hopkins marked 50 years of sobriety by encouraging anybody battling alcohol to “choose life instead of the opposite.” Hopkins, 87, revealed within the video that he virtually killed himself by driving his automobile throughout a drunken blackout. “I realized at that point that I was having too much fun. It was called alcoholism,” he stated.
