Russia has condemned the US for finishing up an "act of armed aggression" on Venezuela.
The Russian international ministry stated in a press release: "This is a matter of deep concern and condemnation. The pre-text used to justify such actions are unfounded."
It comes after Donald Trump introduced the US has carried out a "large-scale strike" and captured President Nicolas Maduro and his spouse.
