Selena Quintanilla’s husband Chris Pérez and sister Suzette Quintanilla revealed new particulars concerning the iconic costume the singer wore to the 1994 Grammy Awards in an interview with E! News. Suzette advised E! News that once they had been taking the costume off the model to be shipped to Los Angeles for the Grammy Museum show, they discovered a rubber band Selena used to carry the hanger loops inside her strapless costume collectively. “Which is smart, because it allowed it to stretch with her movement,” Suzette stated. “It’s still there. The rubber band is still there, we’re not messing with it. It’s holding the straps together for her.
