Ugandan presidential candidate ‘taken away’ as military cracks down on Ugandan opposition

Sky News has seen opposition supporters within the Ugandan capital Kampala being crushed and brought away by the safety forces.

It comes because the nation holds presidential elections, a vote which the opposition says is unfair.

President Yoweri Museveni, who has dominated the nation for many years, is main the ballot, the nation’s electoral fee says.

The opposition says its chief Bobi Wine has been taken away by the military.
