Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has referred to as for a dramatic overhaul of the policing system, arguing that the present mannequin is "so out of date".
He believes there must be a discount within the 43 police forces throughout England and Wales and {that a} shake-up of the system is "overdue".
But residents in Yorkshire have criticised the plans.
