Prue Leith—the beloved co-judge of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ alongside Paul Hollywood—introduced her exit from the sequence on Jan. 21. The chef wrote on Instagram, “Bake off has been a fabulous part of my life, but now feels like the right time to step back (I’m 86 for goodness sake!). There’s so much I’d like to do, not least spend summers enjoying my garden.” And as for who may take her place alongside Paul, Prue is aware of the sequence will stay simply as candy. She continued, “Whoever joins the team, I’m sure they’ll love it as much as I have.
