Toxin that may trigger vomiting and diarrhoea present in batches of child components
The UK Food Standards Agency has advised Sky News {that a} toxin that may trigger vomiting and diarrhoea has been detected in batches of child components produced by food and drinks big, Nestle.
The FSA, together with the UK Health Security Agency, has been investigating since a recall of greater than 60 batches of Nestle SMA components earlier this month.
At the time of the recall, Nestle stated it was because of the "potential presence" of the heat-resistant toxin, cereulide, and that the recall was out of an "abundance of caution".
