The disappearance of US TV host Savannah Guthrie’s mom is being investigated, authorities have mentioned.

Nancy Guthrie was final seen at her dwelling close to Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday at round 9.30pm. The 84-year-old was reported lacking by her household on Sunday after she didn’t attend church, in keeping with police.

On Monday, Chris Nanos, the Pima County sheriff, mentioned: "We don’t see this as a search mission so much as it is a crime scene."

Police consider she was kidnapped from her dwelling whereas she slept, CBS reported.

Savannah Guthrie is a co-anchor on the NBC News morning present Today on US tv.
