A senior Russian navy official is in hospital after being shot in an assassination try in Moscow.
An unknown assailant fired a number of photographs at Lieutenant General Vladimir Alexeyev in a residential constructing on the Volokolamskoye Highway within the northwest of town this morning earlier than they fled, the Russian Investigative Committee stated in an announcement.
Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and a search to seek out the perpetrator is below means.
Alexeyev is deputy chief of the primary directorate of normal workers at the Russian Defence Ministry.
