Plans to delay 30 council elections in England have been scrapped.
The authorities initially stated it wished to push the elections again till subsequent 12 months to assist ship a reorganisation which can see some native authorities abolished.
However, the federal government introduced the U-turn following authorized recommendation.
Reform UK had launched a authorized problem in opposition to the plans, and that case was attributable to be heard within the High Court on Thursday.
