Robert Duvall, ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Apocalypse Now” Actor, Dead at 95

Robert Duvall, best known for his roles in ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Apocalypse Now’ died Feb. 15 at 95, his spouse Luciana Duvall confirmed in an announcement on social media Feb. 16. His spouse of 20 years wrote, “Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, cherished friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time. Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort.” During his storied profession, Duvall earned seven Oscar nominations, successful one for his function in ‘Tender Mercies,’ together with a BAFTA award, 4 Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards and a SAG award.
