Columbus billionaire Les Wexner, the retired retail magnate behind L Brands and Victoria’s Secret, has been subpoenaed to testify earlier than the U.S. Congress about his private {and professional} affiliation with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Lawmakers are set to talk at a information convention after Wexner testifies in a closed session of the U.S. House Oversight Committee.

In a press release submitted to the committee, Wexner mentioned he was "naïve, foolish, and gullible to put any trust in Jeffrey Epstein" and maintained that he has "nothing to hide".

The billionaire says he "completely and irrevocably cut ties with Epstein nearly twenty years ago" and "never witnessed nor had any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activity."
