The former UK ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public workplace.
It follows allegations made in emails launched by the US Justice Department in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mandelson was arrested by the Metropolitan Police at an tackle in Camden and brought to a London police station for interview.
He has beforehand denied any wrongdoing.
