The ‘Transformers’ actor—who shares son Axl Jack Duhamel, 12, with the “Fergalicious” singer—supplied new perception into their 2017 breakup, explaining that his divorce from his ex-wife was largely brought on by their conflicting outlooks on life. “We’re very different,” he defined on the March 2 episode of the Skinny Confidential podcast. “Fergie and I, we have different views of the world. And that’s OK.” Despite holding contrasting values, Josh, 53, insisted he has “no regrets” about his marriage to the 50-year-old, highlighting their sturdy co-parenting dynamic in addition to Fergie’s pleasant dynamic along with his spouse Audra Mari, whom he wed in 2022. “She’s a great mom,” he stated of his ex. “[She’s] very kind, very non-confrontational—thank God—so we have a good relationship.
