During the premiere episode for the ‘Yellowstone’ spin-off ‘Marshals’, Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton revealed the destiny of his spouse Monica Dutton, performed by Kelsey Asbille. “I miss you, baby,” Kayce says within the episode. “I miss my wife—my best friend. My only friend.” Ultimately, it’s revealed that Monica had died following a battle with most cancers, which was presumably brought on by poisonous ranges of air pollution on the household’s reservation. But whereas the sequence kicks off with a serious character demise, showrunner Spencer Hudnut admitted it wasn’t simple to give you the twist after Kelsey confirmed she was unavailable to take part within the spin-off targeted on the Dutton household.
